Hello Son,
Writing to you another letter just so you know how I feel about being your mother at this time of the year.
So we celebrated your birthday more than two months ago and right now, you're just enjoying summer vacation. Nowadays, you love saying no to showers but once you're in, you don't wanna get out of it! You just learned how to follow on to my singing and you like Moonriver the most. Old school, yeah I know.
You love helping Mommy cut some dried flowers as well as trimming grass in our little flower garden. Did you know that you cut all my fresh flowers at one side of our garden the other week? I was sad at first but couldn't get mad at you, lol
Since I like engaging you to household chores, you love helping me in the kitchen and we usually cook together albeit the frying; that would have been scary.
In the recent year, I've been shedding tears and praying hard since following the story of Courageous Caitie who was a 3-year-old girl, died of leukemia like your Tita Kate. Tita Kate is like a sister to Mommy and I lost her to leukemia when we were just 20 years old. How I miss her. Just so you know, Anak. Mommy can get mental, crazy or whatever you call it every time Mommy reads something bad or sad or awful in the news, media or anywhere else.
As a mother, my heart goes out to those parents whose children suffer especially in the face of sickness. But as part of life, sickness and death and all other awful things happen. Embracing the fact that God has put us here on Earth temporarily, He is actually preparing us to an eternal life in heaven if we only believe and be obedient to Him.
As I am a mother to you and Jesus like a father to all of us, Jesus only wants the best for us. And I only want the best for you.
In the recent days, I've been so worried and fearful what's gonna be like when something bad and unexpected happens to one of us. But I've done all the thinking and talked to myself that there's only one thing I could do -- and that is to pray. Prayer is my weapon.
Almost every morning, I keep on putting my hand on to your forehead and bless you with words like "In Jesus' mighty name, I bless you to be a God-loving person, grow up to live a full, long healthy and peaceful life under God's grace and love."
Worries and fears will always be there, Anak. Even after five years of having you, I am still in this learning phase of how parenthood is all about. One thing I am certain though, no matter what life throws at you, God's hand is always at work and we need to learn on how to just be still and trust him.
I may be fearful of a lot of things, but I pray and pray and pray and put all my hope to God. My goal is to live every day under God's light and enjoy life with you and our family, make happy memories as long as we're here. Love you so much, Anak.
Love,
Mommy
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Jesus, I Am Grateful of Your Love
source : Internet
Jesus, I am grateful of my life
I am grateful of Your love
Your mercy
Your forgiveness
Jesus, I am grateful of my Freedom
I am grateful of my Mama
I am grateful of my Papa
Grateful of my husband
Grateful of my siblings
Grateful of my friends
Jesus, I am grateful of Your Greatness
I am grateful of all these wonderful things in my life
Sometimes I wonder
How You could ever love us
When so many of us are not worthy
So many of us are annoyingly not good
And all of us are sinners
But, Oh, I am so grateful
Because You are a God of mercy
A God of love
A God of greatness
I will forever be grateful of my life
Grateful of my family
Grateful that I have a loving God
Grateful that I have a forgiving God
Dear Lord Jesus,
My heart swells with so much gratefulness because I realize each day how much I am so blessed by You. I will continue to be grateful each second of my life. I will continue to praise and serve and love you. I will continue to teach Freedom of your greatness. I love you, Jesus.

On Forgiveness
source: Internet
The blessings in my life are overflowing. I've had my fair share of challenges in my workplace lately. It consumed me to the point I was so vulnerable I already garnered hatred and resentment which was not very healthy. I thank God He gave me a wonderful support system in my mother, husband, son, closest friends, and colleagues.
The end is in sight and I thanked everyone who helped me through -- you know who you are. This experience has taught me many things. First, I learned that during tough times, you'd know who your real friends are. Second, it is always worth the fight telling the truth. Third, you'd be surprised to meet new people who will affect your life forever. Fourth, it taught me to learn how to forgive. Lastly, God works in my favour, EVERY TIME if I commit everything to Him.
Below are words of God shared by my ops manager whom I look up to and consider a great blessing amidst all the trials I faced. I can't help but feel it is only righteous to spread these wonderful words.
Who forgives whom first?
“Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.” (Luke 11:4)
“As the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.” (Colossians 3:13)
When Jesus teaches us to pray that God forgive us “for we ourselves forgive,” He is not saying that the first move in forgiveness was our move. Rather it goes like this: God forgave us when we believed in Christ (Acts 10:43). Then, from this broken, joyful, grateful, hopeful, experience of being forgiven, we offer forgiveness to others. This signifies that we have been savingly forgiven. That is, our forgiving others shows that we have faith; we are united to Christ; we are indwelt by the Spirit.
But we still sin (1 John 1:8, 10). So we still turn to God for fresh applications of the work of Christ on our behalf—fresh applications of forgiveness. We cannot do this with any confidence, if we are harboring an unforgiving spirit (Matthew 18:23–35). That’s why Jesus says we ask for forgiveness because we are forgiving. This is like saying: “Father, continue to extend to me the mercies purchased by Christ because by these mercies I forsake vengeance and extend to others what you have extended to me.”
O, how sweet is the word of God! I looked out my window into the bright morning and said: I love you, God. I love you, Lord Jesus. I love your word. O what a privilege to know you and to have your word. Please keep me faithful to it. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Hooked on Flesh
Hear me, O Lord
That I may understand
The plan You have for me
Against the plan I have for myself
Hear me, O Lord
Hear my pain
Hear my little voice
That's calling out to You
Silently
Hear me, O Lord
So You can change my heart
So You can heal my pain
So You can calm my tremble
Hear me, O Lord
Let me feel peace
After this stormy battle
Remind me that Your love is higher
Than any failure there is
For I feel more human today
Than any other days
Please heal me
Please hear me.
That I may understand
The plan You have for me
Against the plan I have for myself
Hear me, O Lord
Hear my pain
Hear my little voice
That's calling out to You
Silently
Hear me, O Lord
So You can change my heart
So You can heal my pain
So You can calm my tremble
Hear me, O Lord
Let me feel peace
After this stormy battle
Remind me that Your love is higher
Than any failure there is
For I feel more human today
Than any other days
Please heal me
Please hear me.

Jesus, I Dream Of You
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
You let me saw Your light
When I was in the dark.
You called upon me,
When I turned my back on you.
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
Even if I can't see your face,
I dream of seeing you.
Even if I can't feel your touch,
I dream of holding your hand.
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
I was asked to imagine you,
I was only 7 then.
I lied that I saw you,
But I think I imagined it to be true.
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
The lie that I told,
That I was on your lap,
That you gave me an apple.
We were in a beach shore,
Just sitting and chatting.
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
When I am too tired,
Too sleepy to call on you.
I dream of you.
O, Jesus, I dream of you.
Always and forever,
Until I see you.
Face to face.

Luke 2:11 - Christ Is Born
Below was my Saturday night's status on Instragram.
"So I can't sleep and super stoked to start my Christmas decor projects! Creativity adrenalin is so on but can't do as family time starts early for Freedom tomorrow. So goodnight everyone. Ilonggamommy signing off! Thank you, Lord, for today."
And so on Sunday morning, our chalkboard behind our coaster cabinet was like this. It may remain that way until I get the time to create another Christmas doddle!

Favorite Verse of All Time
I am so excited to finally add this page to my mommy blog! Simply because my journey to God has changed me 360 degrees! I'd like to give credit to my loving husband in my faith walk. For I know that being a mom, it is my main responsibility to raise a God-loving person in Freedom. For I know that the word of God should be spread first at home. For I know that I am under God's light today because of Him. Because He loves me and He didn't let go of my hand when I turned my back on Him.
This is my favorite verse of all TIME! Jesus Christ is the loving God.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
